Account structure
Learn how users, teams, sites, and people relate to each other so you can design permissions and data flows correctly.
Users
Users are the teammates who log in to Bento to manage campaigns, data, or automation.
A User has access to a Team and all Sites inside that team.
Team
Teams organize the people collaborating inside your Bento account and give you a place to manage permissions.
A Team can own many Sites (currently limited to 10 per team).
Site
Sites represent individual brands or properties. Each site keeps its own subscribers, campaigns, and settings, making it easy to manage multiple projects in one account.
A Site manages many Visitors.
People
Also called visitors, subscribers, customers, or unsubscribers—these are the individuals Bento tracks and helps you engage.
They are separate from your internal Users. Bento records their behavior so you can segment, automate, and analyze engagement.
A Visitor can accumulate many Events, Tags, Emails, and more over time.
