Requirements

  1. Active Bento workspace with access to the tracking snippet
  2. ClickFunnels account with permission to edit Account Settings → Head Tracking Code
  3. Ability to publish funnel updates

Overview

ClickFunnels handles landing pages and order forms while Bento keeps the customer record, automation logic, and revenue tracking in sync. Adding Bento’s script to your funnel:

  • Records $page events for every funnel step.
  • Identifies subscribers once they submit an email or purchase.
  • Lets you trigger Bento flows off of ClickFunnels conversions without webhooks or middleware.

Requirements

  • Approved Bento account with the correct site UUID.
  • ClickFunnels admin access so you can change the global Head Tracking Code.
  • A short maintenance window to republish affected funnels.

Installation Steps

1. Copy the Bento tracking script

  1. In Bento, open System → Apps → Tracking (or the ClickFunnels integration card) and copy the snippet.
  2. Replace replace_this_with_your_real_site_uuid with the site UUID tied to your ClickFunnels property if it is still in placeholder form.
<script src="https://app.bentonow.com/replace_this_with_your_real_site_uuid.js?clickfunnels=true" async defer></script>

2. Update ClickFunnels settings

  1. Sign in to ClickFunnels and click your avatar → Account Settings.
  2. Scroll to Head Tracking Code.
  3. Paste the Bento snippet exactly as it appears in the Head code box. Avoid switching to the visual editor—stay in the raw code view.
  4. Save the settings to apply the script account-wide.

3. Publish and verify

  1. Open a funnel step, click Settings → Tracking Code, and confirm the Bento snippet is present.
  2. Publish the funnel to push the new header globally.
  3. Visit a live page and check the browser console or network tab to confirm bentonow.com loads without errors.

How the connection works

Once the script runs, Bento streams ClickFunnels page views, identifies visitors when they opt in or purchase, and attaches the activity to the subscriber timeline. Use that data to:

  • Trigger nurture flows as someone advances through your funnel.
  • Update tags or lifetime value fields in real time.
  • Launch transactional or follow-up emails without exporting CSVs.

No extra middleware is required—the Bento script keeps visitor context synchronized between ClickFunnels and your workspace.***
